I ate healthy every day,
Til coronavirus came to stay.
My food was organic, it’s all I trusted.
My pizza was cauliflower crusted.
I ran out of veggies to fill my belly,
There’s no more roast turkey from Nate and Al’s deli.
So I searched my cupboards way up high,
And forbidden boxes caught my eye.
Brownies and cookies, frosting and cake,
I filled up my hours learning to bake.
I ate treats that never crossed my lips,
Red velvet frosting and chocolate chips.
The scale is setting a record each morn,
The highest numbers since I was born!
Since no one sees me, who gives a damn,
I’m binging and happy. That’s what I am.
