Episode #37: Shalom Y’all! With Ann Zivitz Kientz of the Institute of Southern Jewish Life and JWT Artistic Director Ronda
JWT is heading South to…THE SOUTH! On today’s episode, we speak with Ann Zivitz Kientz, Director of Cultural Programming at The Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL). Ann and Jewish Women’s Theatre have been hard at work putting together an incredible tour of six states in the Southern US to bring our unique theatrical experience to Jewish communities in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. As Ann joins us remotely from the ISJL offices in Metairie, Lousiana, you’ll hear from her about the amazing vibrancy of Southern Jewish Life and some of the offerings that ISJL provides to the wide range of communities in and around the South.
Later in the episode, JWT Artistic Director Ronda Spinak and JWT Assistant Artistic Director Andrew Fromer chat about what shows are coming their way and how this exciting tour came together.
